Learn how to restore vintage furniture in a friendly community setting!
Note that the address of the workshop is NOT at Javaplein, but at Wenckebackweg 77 (at Yellow Vintage Collective).
This is a beginner’s class, so all experience levels are welcome. We provide all tools, materials, snacks, drinks and goodie bags!
What you will learn:

Session 1: November 18th (Tuesday), 18:00- appr. 21:30
Session 2: November 25th (Tuesday), 18:00-appr. 21:30
What to bring:
- A suitable piece of vintage wooden furniture - something that you can easily bring to the shop by yourself, for example a small coffee table or night stand. Look for furniture with stains, scratches, or veneer damage - it's so rewarding to see the transformation from your restoration efforts!
- We will focus on veneer and pieces where the wood grain is still visible, so painted pieces are not recommended. You may already have a piece at home that needs some love, or check on marktplaats or a charity shop for something to save.
- Clothes that you don't mind getting dirty - we will be working with materials that can stain your clothes and these stains will NOT come out in the wash.
- If you are sensitive to dust, bring your own suitable mask. We will not be working with sanders or toxic products.
To make things easier, you can bring your piece to the workshop a few days before the first session and you can leave your piece at the workshop between sessions. After the second session you may need to leave your piece in the workshop for a few days as the oil you will apply has to dry.
